Raytheon infrared thermal night vision

I first saw this on the Hummer H2 SUT concept vehicle. I thought it looked very cool so I had to go out and find one. Since I have a sunroof there was not to many places I could mount it. As you can see below It is mounted in the front corner in front of the sunroof between two of the marker lights. It does have a real purpose other then fun. I can use it when on a dark road in the country to spot deer and other animals. I also hope this winter it will be able to give me better vision during the extreme blizzards we have here in ND.

The unit can rotate 360 degrees and pan up and down. I have the controller mounted inside my middle console for easy access.
