Web
Address
Since my H2 has it's own web
site. It was only natural to promote the
web address on the rear of the
vehicle.
Auto
Trim Design of Fargo
did an excellent job on both the look and
install of the graphics. They custom made
the
and made the address
so it matches the header on the YellowH2
site.

Dual
fiberglass 4ft CB
antennas
I love how these dual CB
Antennas look. They are mounted in the
rear bumper.John Mahar at Auto Trim custom
made the brackets that attach to the rear
tail lamp guards to help with stability. I
bought the Antennas at a local truck stop.

Gobi
Ladder
The folks at Gobi are great.
They are very nice, and do a good job of
following up with their
customers.
The ladder is VERY sturdy and
well put together. Once installed it feels
like it is carved right out of the H2. No
rattles, no squeaks, just a strong and
sturdy ladder which makes it much easier
to access the roof. If anyone is thinking
about installing a ladder I highly
recommend the Gobi.

Jerry
Can
No Hummer should be without
at least one jerry can mounted on the
rear. They look cool and if you go
off-roading they are very
handy.
One word of advice. Do not
fill it up and drive around town. If you
got rear ended it could be
disastrous.

Roof
Mounted Spare
Tire
It got old having the spare
tire in the back cargo area. So I moved it
to the roof. I like it much better there.
It gives the H2 much more of a utilitarian
look. I have been asked several times if I
am going on safari.

Side
Lights
The plan is to have lights
all around. The side lights will come in
handy in case I am rescuing someone late
at night stranded in the ditch in the
middle of winter.
It has not happened yet but
hopefully soon.

Traffic
Advisor
When I went on the
2003
Michigan Snow
Run
,I saw many Hummers with alot of very cool
gear! There were a few with traffic
advisors and they looked very natural. So
of course I had to add one. This is the
same kind you see on the back of police
cars.
This will have a very useful
purpose other then just being a toy. Since
I live in ND we do get some very nasty
blizzards. If we ever get another one I do
plan on going out and rescuing people
stranded on the highway as it could be
life threatening. If I am pulled off the
side of the road this will give other
vehicles extra warnings that they need to
move over and not rear end me.

Magnetic
Truck
Shields
Unless you do not want pin
stipes on your new H2 when you go
off-roading in the woods, then you need
some truck shields.
You do have to tape all the
edges down which is a hassle. But that is
better then scratches on your new
rig.

This is the same system used
in police helicopters. It rotates 360
degrees and pans up and down.I have it
bolted to the roof, with the joystick
sitting inside my middle consol.

New
Tires - Goodyear Wrangler MTRs -
37s
What a differnce these tires
make. They are much bigger, have much more
aggressive traction and they look awsome!
There is not much difference in road noise
over the factory BFGs and best of all they
don't rub!
My local Goodyear retail
store wanted over $500 per tire. I got
these for $210 per tire from
Tires.com.
Here is the exact size:

XM
Satellite
Radio
Once you get a satellite
radio you will wonder how you ever lived
without it!! I bought an Alpine FM
modulator that is hooked up to to the
factory stereo. It plays cd quality music
and has over 100 channels to choose
from.

Hella
Black Magic Offroad
Lights
When I
came across the Hella Black Magic lights

would compliment the black housing of the

them installed. I am very happy with the
outcome.

Xbox / DVD
Rather then installing a
basic DVD player, I opted for an Xbox
since it will play DVDs along with
games.
Finding a place to fit the
Xbox was a challange. we opted to build a

ceiling in the rear.
